The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be shown live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to promote next month's bout.
Ex two-time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British rival Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Size Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the usual stare-down, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really happening.
